Fast Funny Women features 75 women writers, ages 20 to 89, invited by editor Gina Barreca to make a party out of their life’s most unnerving, challenging, illuminating, desperate, and hilarious moments. You know many of these brilliant women, but you’ve never heard them like this! These are their stories, all under 750 words each.
Fast Fierce Women is the much anticipated follow up to Fast Funny Women and will be published in March 2022.

Bonnie Jean Feldkamp
Bonnie Jean Feldkamp is a wife, mother, and award-winning opinion columnist. Her columns often seek to understand how current events and family life intersect. She ties personal experiences to social issues to help readers empathize, relate, and care.
David LeGere is a publishing professional with fourteen years of experience in the US, specializing in the trade nonfiction, gift, and outdoor markets. He has worked with a vast network of industry professionals and published hundreds of titles, ranging from recent celebrated nonfiction like Fast Funny Women. He has published three titles that have won the National Outdoor Book Award (2016, 2018, and 2020), and he is an Editorial Director at Rowman & Littlefield in addition to the CEO of Woodhall Press. A graduate of Fairfield University’s MFA program, he is also a dedicated English professor and writer. Laura Rossi is a public relations expert, digital strategist, podcast producer, and published author. For three decades, Laura has lead book publicity campaigns for bestselling authors as well as for national companies and brands in the lifestyle, nonprofit, and art and design industries. Laura worked in-house at top publishers including Random House, Viking Penguin, and W. W. Norton before founding Laura Rossi Public Relations. Laura is the Producer of Parent Footprint with Dr. Dan, an Exactly Right/My Favorite Murder network podcast. Laura Rossi is a contributor to several collections includes Make Mine a Double, The Grateful Life, Fast Funny Women, and Fast Fierce Women.
