Living Wild: How to plant style your home and cultivate happiness (Hardcover)
A memoir by one of the greatest contemporary mountaineers and adventurers of our time — whose fellow travelers and close friends include Yvon Chouinard (founder of Patagonia), the late Doug Tompkins (founder of NorthFace), and Jimmy Chin (the acclaimed National Geographic photographer who films include Free Solo, Rescue, and Wild Life). The legendary Ridgeway is a masterful and engaging storyteller — taking us with him on expeditions all over the globe from Everest and K2, to Patagonia and Antarctica, to Tibet and other far-flung places. He’s a climber, a conservationist, an explorer, and we share both the high-octane moments of his life along with his very personal insights about love, friendship, death, and what gives life purpose. The stories in this book have stayed in my mind!— Carolyn
