If Charlie Day’s character in Pacific Rim had a book, this would be it. Jamie, while losing his job during COVID, takes a position to care for Kaijus that exist in an alternate dimension. These monsters need to be prevented from crossing into our world and have to be studied. Light, fun sci-fi with good pacing and enjoyable characters.
