I love the Bronte Sisters and find Anne to be talked over or in the shadow of her two talented sisters. The Tenant of Wildfell Hall deserves more love as it carefully blends the oddness/gothic qualities of the Bronte sisters while reading more like a Jane Austen novel.

— Jesse

From the author of Hamnet, with this novel set in Renaissance Italy, we get a perfectly paced page-turner. A young daughter married a duke at a powerful court. Will he love her? Will he kill her? Great read!
